The 2nd Online Photo Contest “Vietnam In Motion” held by Indochina Star Company and Ho Chi Minh Photography Association has closed on Nov. 18th, 2005. The below are statistics and results of the exam.
1. Photos sent through internet : 613 (66.48%)
2. Photos sent by email : 138 (14.96%)
3. Photos sent by post office : 171 (18.60%)
4. Total photos : 922
5. Black and white photos : 39
6. Colored photos : 883
7. Total Photographers : 66
- HCMC : 35 photographers (53%)
- Hanoi : 10 photographers (16%)
- Provinces : Běnh Thuận, Vĩnh Long, Phú Thọ, Běnh Định, Nha Trang, Kięn Giang, Trŕ Vinh, Sơn Tây, Huế, Đồng Nai.
8. Foreign Country : United States, Norway
"Vietnam in motion II" Examination results:
Frist prize:Traditional dance (Trung Nghia – Tuoi Tre – HCM City).
Second prize:The happiness of doctoral candidates (Nguyen Bach Thao – Vinh Long)
.................... A strange but true thing(Tran Van Ky – Dong Nai)
Third prize: Gift of the sea (Long Vu – Binh Thuan)
.................. Determining to win (Le Tung Khanh – HCM City)
.................. Bring electricity to everywhere (Pham Thi Xuan Hoa – Kien Giang).

| ALMOST 100 PHOTOS SENT TO BOARD OF ORGANIZERS IN MAY, 2005 |

The photos contest “Vietnam In Motion II” is turning hotter with series of photos continuously sent to Board of Organization from every region of Vietnam country. Almost 100 photos were sent to the Board of Organizers in May 2005 and increase the total quantity of works to 200. 99% of works were sent through the website www.is-tours.com even photographers from remote provinces as Tra Vinh and Kien Giang. This reflects the popularity of the contest as well as pace keeping with new technology of examinees.
The attration of the contest also has strong effect to restaurants and hotels in Vietnam nationwide. A lot of hotels like Omni, Amara, Rex, New World, Caravelle, Sunrise Beach Resort Nhatrang (Vietnam), Phreak Khan Hotel, Angkor Howard hotel, Taiming Plaza Hotel (Campuchia), etc. have responded to the trade-mark advertisement programs on the site www.is-tours.com offered during the occuring contest.

Once again The Hochiminh City Photography Association and Indochina Star Company continue to organize the photo contest “Vietnam in motion II” via internet. Our purpose is to make more good conditions for Vietnamese photographers can be able to introduce to people in all over the World the pictures of Vietnam country in the process of integration and development.
